MAC Director, Marilyn Arons, will make a presentation to the Nasty Cooperative on Social Justice as seen through the lens of special education. The program will address the variety of rights available in America, as well as the difficulty in enforcing them. An emphasis will be placed on the importance of nonlawyer representation, the lawyer monopoly, and the lack of free or low cost legal services at every level of society. This event is a fund raiser for the Melody Arons Center. The afternoon will merge music and discussion to encourage creative exploration these issues.
The Nasty Cooperative is an organization based in Boston and founded by Sarah Bob, well known concert pianist.
